Marketer, Ian Latchford and winemaker Mark Lane run the Swings and Roundabouts brand.

Lane found his way to Margaret River in a roundabout way. For a while he made cheese in Melbourne but saw the light and gained winemaking apprenticeships in the Yarra Valley with Tarrawarra and Eyton-on-Yarra, before heading west to take up the position of Chief Winemaker with Deep Woods and then Flying Fish Cove wines.

Since 2004 Mark and Ian has pulled together a team to establish Swings & Roundabouts brand. There is also the premium varietal Laneway series including Tempranillo and Shiraz, and the light hearted Kiss Chasey range (including Rose, Cab Sav/Shiraz/Merlot blend, Chenin Blanc).

Local veteran Brian Fletcher is the chief wine-maker (former chef winemaker for the Evans and Tate group and Curtin University lecturer).
