label

Punt Road was originally known as The Yarra Hill. The syndicate of owners have wisely abandoned the name because of the ever increasing proliferation of local wineries with the word 'Yarra' as part of their name.

The winery is now owned by the Napoleone family who also now run a boutique cider brand. The winemaker is Kate Goodman.

The basic situation of the business (opposite St. Huberts) remains unchanged, centred on a medium-sized new winery which produces the Punt Road wines, as well as undertaking substantial contract winemaking for others.

The Punt Road wines are made from the best parcels of fruit grown on 75 hectares of vineyards. An associated label is the budget Little Rebel brand and is targeted at genxy women with attitude. The portfolio also includes the budget Arlie Bank range, the experimental Chemin range, and the super-premium MVN range.
