Chanters Ridge is a small family-run vineyard at Tylden. It is run by orthopaedic surgeon, Barry Elliot and his wife.

The vineyard is planted exclusively with Pinot Noir, the Chanters Ridge vineyards occupy two hectares on a larger 24 ha property of rolling volcanic slopes at the heart of the Macedon Ranges.

The table and sparkling wines are made by John Ellis at Hanging Rock.

(GXY) Tasting: June 2012, from a warmer vintage, aromatic and firmish black cherry and plum with red berry, menthol and dried herb notes, earthy and medium bodied with some tangy orange peel acidity and subtle oak, approaching its drinking peak (***1/2)
