This is a small, fairly new family owned winery. The Raidis family have lived in the Coonawarra for 40 years after emigrating from Greece.

They planted the first Cabernet vines in 1994 but the vineyard was substantially expanded in 2003 with the addition of Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Pinot Gris, Merlot and Shiraz.

The cellar door was opened by former Prime Minister, Julia Gillard in 2009.

(GXY) Tasting:  Dec 2015, pronounced pink blush colour from extended skin contact, partial barrel ferment fresh white peach and pear with musky spices and hints of cinnamon and strawberry, modest creaminess without any phenolic bitterness and well balanced acidity (****)

(GXY) Tasting: Aug 2013, salmon pink tinges to the colour, perfumed, viscous and fairly dry pear and apple apart from a streak of tropical fruit sweetness, also has cinnamon, rose petals and nougat notes, crisp lemony acids with touch of savoury phenolic grip on the finish (****)

(GXY) Tasting: Aug 2013, brightly flavoured lychee, guava and passionfruit with modest grassiness and honeyed creaminess, not as estery as the 2012, crisp citric acid finish (***)

(GXY) Tasting: Aug 2011, supple and fleshy mulberry, dark plum and blackcurrant with mint and violet notes, the medium bodied palate has better length and definition than the 2009 and shows some gamey complexity, spicy clove/vanilla oak is wrapped up in the chalky tannins (****)

(GXY) Tasting: Aug 2012, the No. 3 ranked wine in the Adelaide Review’s 100 Top SA wines, yields were 60% down due to wet vintage, nicely perfumed regional expression showing the orange blossom, apple and white flowers of the Coonawarra rather than the lime blossom of Eden and Clare Valley Rieslings, modestly spicy with powdery phenolics, some flintiness and tangy grapefruit acidity, good length (****)

(GXY) Tasting: Aug 2012, silky texture and fairly dry, aromatic pear and apple with a sliver of tropical fruit sweetness, also has nuances of cinnamon and nougat, fresh lemony acids with a light savoury grip on the finish, nicely balanced (***1.2)

(GXY) Tasting: Aug 2012, fleshy and supple blackberry and mulberry with peppery spices, violets and a touch of game, medium bodied palate is evenly weighted although the fruit is fractionally forward, ample cedar/dark chocolate oak with open knit fine grained tannins (***)
