Sirromet The Beginning 2004

Purchased: Caloundra BWS, Dec 2005 ($10)

Drink: 2006

(GXY) Tasting: Dec 2005, 100% South Burnett, 40% Semillon, 36% Chardonnay and 24% Verdelho, don't serve it too cold, it tasted like dry Semillon with no counter-balancing fruit at first, once it warmed up on a thundery Queensland evening the more pleasing honeydew melon and mango aromas emerged with the Verdelho supplementing the dry acidic finish, revised the rating of this blend from an initial (*1/2) to (***)
